Every commute makes a difference

When it comes to your daily commute, you have choices. We’re here to help drivers choose an alternative to single-occupancy driving – such as carpooling, vanpooling, public transit, or bikepool – that improves their quality of life and benefits the environment, too.

83% of Louisville-area commuters drive to work alone
18% of the typical person’s monthly budget is used for car maintenance, repairs, and gas
26% projected population growth means more traffic on already-crowded roads

Earn rewards when you use alternatives

In addition to working with employers and commuters in Kentuckiana to connect them with custom commute programs, we offer incentives to encourage people to use these services. Eligible commuters have the opportunity to win $10, $25 and even $50 gift cards every month!

If your commute begins and/or ends in one of these nine counties, you are eligible for services with Every Commute Counts:

  • Indiana – Clark, Floyd
  • Kentucky – Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble

For example, you are eligible if you:

  • Live in Louisville, Kentucky and work in Frankfort, Kentucky
  • Live in New Albany, Indiana and work in Columbus, Indiana
  • Live in Shepherdsville, Kentucky and work in Carrollton, Kentucky
